Meet the Ladies of the Book Club

Amy Voigt
The mother of three, Amy describes going to the book club as a “relief” and “saving grace.” She was known around the neighborhood as the woman with the English whistle. Whenever it was time for her kids to come home or for meals, she’d blow it three times. Inevitably, all of the other kids would run home as well. She appreciated taking her children to the National Airport for famous arrivals, such as Winston Churchill and King Saud. She also taught all of her children how to drive at Arlington National Cemetery on Sundays because of the hills.
